Elevated bed frame – If we have a few meters at home, we are many in family, or we only have a microapartamento to live. We must sharpen ingenuity so that both decoration and distribution of small spaces is as functional as aesthetic. Avoiding that whole is variegated or with too many things in between. One of furniture that occupies most in a home is bed, especially if it is marriage. Therefore, one of most useful resources to take advantage of available space is to place it at top. Which means to discard mentality “I have X square meters” for “I have X cubic meters”. And is that when it comes to decorating our houses we always think of space we have on ground. But we rarely think how to take advantage of all that free zone that is situate from height of our eyes.
At same time, we always associate beds up to bunk beds of children’s rooms. However, there are many methods to locate also, why not, double bed in heights. It is true that for this we have to have a roof of a height higher than average if we want to avoid bumps when getting out of elevated bed frame design. And that also entails some inconvenience (especially in case of standard high beds with portable ladders or boat ). Such as having to disturb couple if they have to go to bathroom at midnight or discomfort to make bed. But when there is no space, being able to get a free space in floor of about 4m2 (2×2) can be a luxury and effort pays off.
On other hand, there are solutions and designs for all tastes that try to avoid these obstacles. From constructing a high-rise structure that incorporates a fixed. And comfortable staircase to climb (as a double-decker), to lift able beds. Which they go up and down rails until reaching almost to ceiling being practically camouflage by day. And lowering to a more comfortable height to sleep at night. Also allowing their placement in floors whose ceiling height leaves no room for other options.
In any case, main advantage of placing elevated bed frame, whether in children’s or marriage rooms. It is that they allow a space underneath to place a desk and study area. Then a small dressing room, storage cupboards and even a bathroom, a kitchen or a small living room with its sofa, armchair and TV area. This helps not only to get a house more practical and functional. But also adds a plus to decoration, as it brings spaciousness and feel of space to tiny areas.
